I got to wondering how does she walk around. She must be concerned with harming something by accidentally stepping on it, altering its habitat or impacting its food sources.

I went to Block Island once, off the coast of Rhode Island. There were signs all over that depicted people playing sand volleyball. The caption was something like "Fun for you, terrifying for them" and it showed a picture of a bunch of bugs. It also said something about not disturbing their habitat.

Strange poster. If it was to be so pristine, why not block it off from public access?
