If a Harper minority could not produce sufficient consensus I suppose yet another election. But a Harper government, minority or majority, is IMO far from a foregone conclusion.

Just want to buttinski here to repeat my assertion that in reality the Canandian govt is basically on the same level of conciousness as the US... just different problems and paradigm manifesting things differently. Sorry to send the message to Canadians here {myself included}... It would be nice to see the holier than thou attitude of so many Canadians transcended...
