Maurice, Re: "long pig" <G> That has been a Pacific delicacy forever and has only very recently vanished from the dinner table on some islands down there. Jack London as recently as 1915 wrote several novels based on what he observed while visiting the haunts of the Maoris northern neighbors and "long pig dinners" were a common feature he observed there barely 90 years ago. I really love the level of "cultural sensitivity" that you manage to work into your posts which helps to demolish some of the rubbish that has become such a large part of of the current dialogue about anything that has to do with the issue of race.
