War, terrorism and armageddon nuts have obscured the view. However, a CNN poll today showed 51% are very concerned and negative about the state of our environment. And 60% know Bush is in with the oil companies and pollutors and blame him for high gas prices. Put those together and some inroads could be made. Bushies are also masters of disguising their pro-pollution policy with nice-sounding names like Clear Skies and Healthy Forests (yeah healthy dead forests in the shape of 2 by 4's)
