Farmed salmon and trout contain some of the highest levels
of PBDE (a fire retardant) of almost any food there is.
Pork, cheese and butter are also high. Actually, it's
pretty much gotten all through the food chain, but farmed fish
are particularly high. Lake fish are also showing up with high
levels of fire retardants in their flesh as well, but then
they're pretty full of mercury, pharmaceutical residues
and other goodies, so I doubt anyone eats many anymore.
