my only assumption was based upon your posting

if you had not posted that you were a teacher in a CA school district, i would have had no reason whatsoever to even ask you the question about teachers' inet access during school hours

i don't know how many times i must disabuse you of the notion the question wasn't about your personal endeavors but instead what the state of CA found permissible wrt teachers deviating (my opinion) from teaching and posting instead internet messages unrelated to curriculum

i could not care less about your personal situation apart from the fact that you indicated you were a teacher in a CA school district.

so ..

i guess if you don't know what the policy is in your district,

you can plead ignorance should you ever be called upon to explain why you are posting instead of teaching...

which is your prerogative...

my question then would be to the parents of the children in district of IONESCO

"it's 2:14 pm, do you know where your children are?"
