Hey Ray, you didn't address what Maurice said - he didn't say that redistribution was bad, or not useful.

He said it was a way to destroy capital.

Ray, most Americans are over-employed. <Several million unemployed and underemployed Americans would beg to differ > There are hundreds of millions of Indians and Chinese better fitted to the intellectual rigours of the jobs those over-employed Americans currently hold. Hence the outsourcing process.

Those who are unemployed can cut their price per hour and get a job. There's a silly 'minimum wage' law in the USA which is much higher than the income of most of the people on the planet. That doesn't make sense.

Get rid of the minimum wage and there will be lots of work for those unemployed people.

I could hire a dozen.

Hence the outsourcing process and off-shoring of production.

I could hire a couple of dozen. I'd like a house near San Diego and could use a cook, driver, gardener, maintenance man, nanny [for grandchildren], tax accountant, lawyer, security, etc.

The people put bush in office, they put lee raymond in XOM - they put buffet in BRK - who only gives 12 million to charity - they put more lawyers in congress - they got what thier limited intelligence would allow for them - now instead of looking in the mirror for why they are broke and jobless and how thier choices got us here - they are going to let that dope that suckered them shift the blame to china cause it is easier to blame the other guys for your fckup than look in the mirror while you pat your butt checking out those new 600 dollar jeans. Pathetic.
