The Clintons were cleared of ALL charges on the Whitewater witchhunt. All those "gates" are just rightweing imagination and smear tactics. Then why did Clinton admit to lying under oath and agree to a $25,000 fine and a five-year suspension of his law license? Clinton was lucky that Jim McDougal died in prison and that Susan McDougal opted to play the role of martyr. Face it, Clinton was a mediocre transitional president who was lucky to inherit an economy that was fueled by the post cold war dividend and technology driven productivity gains.
