Was disappointed to see them on the R&R list today--the glgc website right now does not pull up any investor conferences. Hopefully it will not be too many. I think it is not so good to hold a CC and promise a profit two years down the road, but then start issuing new shares (presumably that is precisely what the R&R conference is for). After all, they've said what they will put into Horizon (it was something like $40M over the next two years) and they have enough cash to make it, certainly if they sell of the CRO stuff (which is what I think they should do, Mr. Brink.) Brown must smell dilution--they've decreased holdings from around 3M to less than 1M shares-- SEC filing showed up friday, same day as the quarterly report. I do think it is pretty unlikely (??) they will sell shares at any discount to the current price available on Wall Street--which values the company at minus 9M. After all, they could sell the company right here right now for a higher price. You do not sell part of the company to new shareholders at a discount to liquidation value, do you? Current shareholders would sue? Of course, there is waning institutional interest apparently. Class action? I have been willing to give managment the benefit of the doubt recently, after all, I have paid well less than book value for my shares, but if there is a PIPE at $3 I think I am going to be a lot pissed off.
