I think the point is the Republican party is not for gay rights or gay marriage and so on... And yet there seems to be a few gays in the Republican chain of commands. Really, who gives a rats ass. As long as the person is qualified.

As with all rightwingers, you have checked your brains at the entrance to the tent and show a total inability to read and comprehend posts. Karl Rove being gay is neither good or bad just as someone's being straight is neither good or bad. Good or bad are moral judgments and sexual orientation is not an issue of morality. Condie being a virgin, never-married, straight, lesbian or whatever are also not issues of morality. The moral issue when it comes to sexual orientation is hypocrisy and, sometimes, sheer cowardice. The head of the RNC is gay but his party's platform shows great hatred toward gays and seeks to codify their status as less than full citizens. THAT is bad. THAT is immoral. Karl Rove is also a hypocrite since he is also a Republican. Other than being a hypocrite, of course, Rove is also the dirtiest political hack since who knows when. The problem with Condaleeza is that, for a person in her position, she appears unable to cope with reality. That would make our Sec of State INSANE. That is immoral as it endangers all of us.

clearly means that AS is using "gay" as an insult. The fact that Rove is gay and yet is willing to strip gays of their rights for political gain shows Rove to be the worst kind of hypocrit. That is the real signifigance of his orientation. TP

Condi Rice was completely UNqualified for the job of security chief. She ignored terrorism, including warnings of imminent hijackings by Al Qaida, and let 9-11 happen. Later she refused to apologize or admit any error. For lying, failing and being a black woman, she was promoted. Yes she's a smart lady, but she was a university provost with no experience at security. Meanwhile Bush fires Richard Clarke's Al Qaida desk. Makes you wonder if Bushies were implicated huh?

Karl Rove is very-very qualified at dirty campaigns which include the following: - Planting a bug in his own office then blaming the opponent right before the big debate. - Using an FBI buddy to harass political opponents. - Framing two innocent guys and sending them to prison. - Spreading the rumor Anne Richards is a lesbian using windshield fliers at evangelical churches. And this is a gay guy remember. - Cleansing Bush's National Guard records to take out when he was AWOL. - Using operatives to wage a smear campaign against John McCain's military service, including spreading word he's nuts, a coward, a traitor and fathered a black prostitute's daughter. All total lies. etc.
