Oh, I contested (and resolved) the existence of Moses in college. He probably didn't exist, either.

Mohammed may have not either, I haven't gotten there yet.

Z, Are Muslims, Jews, or any other religions that follow a god or gods believing in one massive hoax?

At least no skeptic bothers to contest the existence of Mohammed or Moses.

I know very little about Moses but I can tell you that Mohammad's story is a bit suspect........allegedly the Koran was given to an illiterate Mohammad by the archangel, Gabriel, through a series of revelations. Each day he would get new verses in a cave where he would meet the archangel. And then he would give the new version to someone who could write them down.

The story is suspect but at least there is a historical record of Mohammad's existence. After all, he led several battles between Mecca and Medina. Now that sounds very real.
