Bush's Fascism is ridiculous. Those who feel frightened because of the bleakness of their economic futures turn to the party almost wholly responsible for their bleak outlook. It's like the abused returning time and again to the abuser or the addict returning time and again to the source of his addiction. The rightwing of the Republican Party is a disease. I wonder if there's a stem-cell treatment for it...the replacing of defective brain cells or the reimplanting of enlightened self interest.
