I'd have to agree with Christine on that. Most birds I know are more than equal to me.
She wasn't speaking of human birds. :-)

As an aside, I recall extreme feelings of murderous intent on the Thanksgiving day that the cat came home with what turned out to be a broken femur and a BB lodged inside it. I recall daydreams for weeks afterwards of delivering similar vengeance.
I can understand that. I'm not fond of their pterophagic tendencies either.

But they are carnivores, along with many other animal species (and some plant species, for that matter) such as sharks, albacore tuna, tigers, cheetahs, ......

What are we to do? Does CGB's kindness extend to exterminating them?

Apparently. She thinks it laudable to murder deer hunters in cold blood.

Personally I don't give a fig about humanity.
Sure you do. All od us do. Our concern extnds beyond ourselves and our lifetimes. If not, we're psychpaths or sociopaths. And I've seen nothing from you that would justify such a judgement.

In fact, similar to my meat eating dichotomy, I am totally ambivalent about the fate of vast herds of humans across the face of the earth. Though I would help save those whom I would consider savable and/or personally close to me, heck whats the harm in losing a few billion of the herd ? We're all gonna die someday anyway. Not my problem man.
OK. That's different.

And no thanks for the invite to visit Feelies, been there done that.
Good move. I doubt you will regret it.

I didn't leave my heart in SF
Frisco is not one of my favorite places either.
(NOTE: "Frisco" is one of Holly's hot buttons, :-)

and when I was free to rescue my capital which had been locked up there neigh onto 100 years, I ripped it out of that "progressive" town as fast as I could.
HOW did they do that????

Let C comfort and save the humanity of that weird town all by herself with all her new age feelie crap.
Good judgement. I think you get it.

BTW, I consider James Barrett F*****G BRILLIANT!
