Sorry tyke, thought you were speaking figuratively there ... so if 'baby' is synonymous with 'Liberal Party', what is the bathwater, the billions of our cash they bathe in?

Labels get used all the time, it's very difficult to avoid them without typing reams of explanatory detail on issues ... note that a few words later in the same paragraph you use the label 'Neocons', expecting us all to understand your meaning, and we do ... we all do this in the interests of brevity, ars longa, vita brevis, it's just useful at times to clarify their meaning, or crack a joke, and that was my intention

People say a lot of things ... you have to wonder how long any of us would last in politics if there were competitors compiling our every word and publicising selected bits they found to their advantage ... in another post you mention one of Harper's statements on Iraq2003, he was taken to task for that by his membership, even though the full thought he was expressing was not nearly as un-canadian as it is presented by the careful editing in Liberal attack pieces

Turn that scrutiny onto the Liberals on the same day, and what do you get, you get Chrétien off in Bizzaroworld somewhere, saying We the natural governing party have determined that the canadian nation chooses to kiss Chirac's arse instead of Bush's, these being the only two possible choices in the universe ... note the royal 'We', capitalised, with capital they got from all of us, not just their indoctrinated base ... but if ever there was a time in recent years for a Pearson or a Laurier, that was it

Laurier today would be a tory - check his policies, read his legislation, his notable quotes ... and it was he who built up the Liberal political machine, back when it was liberal, and before that label had its meaning changed

As for risk, you're not going to find an absence of it anywhere, let alone in politics, there is always the unexpected ... look at the Liberals today, faced with the risk that the canadian people might after all not be entirely satisfied with gross corruption in their Natural Governing Party ... who knew?

Bloc said loud and clear that Separation Gee tyke... that is of course VASTLY different from Jean Chretien fighting an election on free trade and the GST... where are we today on those issues ... in committee ? ROTF...

tyke the Liberals are full of $hit... just like the Bloc.. there is really not a polite way to state it... but do not worry as Ontario will ensure that we don't get a chance to smell any other fragrance... Liberal Right or Wrong....

OR

why Kastel thinks ... separation East and West is becoming inevitable...

Too bad that you had to get caught
That's not like you to lose face
So sad that you're not as smart
As you thought you were in the first place

Baby, I could use some of your persuasion
(too bad .. persuasion .. too bad .. persuasion)
To wipe away (wipe, wipe, a-wipe, a-wipe a-wipe away)
the taste of your machinations
(too bad .. machinations .. too bad .. machinations)

It's over
Kaput except for the tail spin
(too bad .. for the tail spin .. too bad .. for the tail spin)
Save the dialogue (baby set your dialogue)
for the old men in the pool room
(too bad .. such a cool room .. in the pool room .. such a cool room)

Try it once, well I'm not so sure
Try it twice and you're by my door

Too bad that you had to get caught
That's not like you to lose face
So sad that you're not as smart
As you thought you were in the first place

The money, no more than insulation
(too bad .. insulation ... too bad .. insulation)
The getaway, (get get a-get a-get a-get away)
I watched with fascination
(too bad .. fascination .. too bad .. fascination)
The hideway, Woooo! such imagination
(too bad .. 'magination .. too bad .. 'magination)
Ah .. the 45! Goodbye!
I used it with no hesitation
(too bad .. hesitation .. too bad .. hesitation)

Too bad that you had to get caught
That's not like you to lose face
So sad that you're not as smart
As you thought you were in the first place
