I completely agree with you that the effort by the Bushies to recast Hitler as a Leftist is beyond silly. However, just as Hitler understood, Bush realizes that with a dimmed-down public that constant repetition of a lie can make the ignorant public believe almost anything. At least enough of the public for the illegitimate leadership to continue lying to the public. That's why its important to keep repeating the dangers the current administrations poses to the American way of life. That's why the Bush administration has worked over time to convince us that any Bush analogy to Hitler is fatuous and suggests that the person has lost the argument. That's why its imperative to keep repeating the truth; that is, that Hitler was not a leftie but a rightie.......an extreme rightie at that. ted
