Hmmm. Maybe that's why respiratory therapists smoke. Job security. :-)

Pipes aren't nearly as hard on the lungs as cigarettes. You don't inhale the crap as deeply. But, as you said, oral health is a problem.

Stick to the pot. It's probably safer than tobacco. :-)

Denial is good- -if you're denying the right things.

I remember a neighbor who came to the door with a cigarette in one hand and towing an oxygen bottle with the other. Now THAT'S denial!

Wharf Rat, I tried those natural cigarettes and liked them. However, they are 5 or 6 dollars a pack--a little too expensive for my habit. <g>
