U.S. Senate Republicans have the votes to ban any more Democratic procedural roadblocks against President Bush's judicial nominees, a top Republican said on Sunday.

If that is the case why should Republicans compromise at all? If they do compromise Dems would use it to get their way with every succeeding Republican presidential judicial nominee. And isn't it awfully funny that 5 of the nominees are suddenly acceptable? And which two does Biden think are too radical? Guess Biden needs to check with someone or another before any names are mentioned?

They thought that Republicans would back off like they have in the past. They were wrong, and aren't in any position to demand anything. If they shut down the Senate over this, it will get a thorough airing.....and they will look like asses.
