I hunt because: 6. I like getting up before dawn, anticipating a day full of activity outdoors. 7. I love the smell of coffee on the stove when it is still dark outside, knowing that when the first light of day hits the ground, my boots will be crunching in the snow down a likely ridge. 8. I love talking to my hunting partner as we drive to the hunting grounds. 9. I love the thrill of the chase. 10. I love that my game animal has a chance to beat me, and often does.
