The phenomeon of Nazism was a perverse aberration within Western Christian Culture that divinized the "Enlightenment" dogmas of rationalism and empiricism while stripping Germany's political and military institutions of their dynamic elements of moral and spiritual restraint that were anchored in Christ, revelation knowledge and the Church. Germany simply lost the spiritual engine that drove her Western Culture and returned to the barbarism of her pagan past armed with the weapons of the enlightenment to advance her pagan ideals.
