hypotheticly, if we were to leave tomorrow control would swing over to the Shiit'e majority which would most likely lead to civil war and the possibility of an Iranian presence in Iraq within a year...bad for US....

when I say Iraq doesnt matter what I mean is the Middle East is not going to be profoundly changed for the better or worse for our involvement there.....the Arabs are going to remain the Arabs no matter what we do....no matter how many of our guys lives are sacrificed there......
