There have been two instances since Terri Schaivo where feeding tubes have been pulled. One against the objection of the parents with a baby. The other in Texas because the parents could not afford the medical card and Medicaid would not pick it up. In Texas there is a limit on how much Medicaid will pay for feeding tubes. Here also the parents objected. Where is the outrage here. Where is Frist.. DeLay and all those who were so concerned about Terri. It's just that one was a political football and the others are just incidentals.. Just like two blocks away from the White House is the biggest area of slums where more blacks kill one another in a year than even in L.A. Is it front page news ? Who cares ? A river separates the haves from the have nots.
