The alternative is to have foreclosures and collapse in
asset values. Yes the savers have suffered and will continue to suffer but they will not be kicked out on the street.

I expect the attempt by gov to do everything to prevent
a collapse in asset values of prop and stocks, and savers
will be largely paying for it and will have no other choice
as I expect controls to prevent leakage except for the very
adept.

Remember also, Nixon put on price controls with only
4% inflation.
