Republicans held up dem appointments when clinton was pres. They didnt need 60 votes because they were a majority. This nasty contentious battle between parties has wrong doing on both sides. Once again i suggest a 5 judge approved/5 disapproved compromise to preserve the filibuster rule. Keep in mind if you take the filibuster away for judges, next time it can be taken away for legislation and that may happen when hillary is pres and the dems have a majority. There may be bigger fish to fry here than initially meets the eye.
