No I'm not. I happened to be reading a book on VN when I bought my membership here. Every other "handle" was taken so I grabbed this one which happened to be on the page I was reading at the time. My opinion; the war was easily won a thousand different ways. It was lost cause Ted Kennedy shot down the appropriations bill for S VN military aid which reduced the S VN Army to 40 rounds of ammo and 2 grenades a month. Had nothing to do with all the usual NY Times baloney about hearts and minds. It was strictly logistical. What we should have done was tell the Thai to go into Laos and close the Ho Chi Minh trail.
