This past week I have been seeking counsel with several entreprenuers and wealthy investors I have come to know and respect over the years. Without giving my thoughts first I have asked each what they thought about the economy in the near future. I asked 3 people, none of whom know each other. Every one said the same thing: "All the conditions are in place for a major depression. We just need a precipitating event." For all three of these people to have come to the same conclusion independantly is scary, at least to me.
