The Duke link had the most comprehensive methodology and the deepest research data. His conclusion, that white perpetrators disproportionately get higher rates of capital punishment than black perpetrators, is supported by the data and a proven secondary hypothesis based on the race of victims. I agree with him that it would be absurd to trash the positive effects of the DP because blacks tend to get more lenient sentences. Of course, no fact or set of statistics on the DP would ever change the minds of true believers like you. So it really doesn't matter, does it?
