Yiwu, sometimes I think Maurice got your name out of a phone book and set up your SI account himself just to create the perfect setups for his rants. The real Yiwu Zhang could be working in a nail parlor, completely unaware of what's going on.

How do we know it's really you? Mq is an awfully sneaky guy!

Do these websites being "censored" really contain information which is anything other than falsified?

For example: The Tibet websites that you talk about. Do they mention that the British occupied the territory and brutally killed more than 1,000,000 people (far more than Mao is accused of killing there)? Do they mention that under the Dali Lama, in the latter part of the occupation, that slavery was legal there, and that brutal conditions were forced upon the people by the few rich elites? Do they mention about the fact that it was a part of China for the large majority of the last 1500 years, save for during two periods: 1. when they invaded parts of Sichuan, Gansu, and Xinghai and 2. when it was under British rule?

The Taiwan websites ... do they mention that it was part of China for most of the last 2000 years? Do they talk about the minorities on the island who still carry Taiwan identity cards, but are forbidden from voting? Do they talk about the crimes
against all people that the Japanese committed there? Do they talk about the fact that they (under the KMT) stole more than 1,000,000,000,000 dollars from China? Do they talk about that they spend more money on military than China does? Do they talk about how they aided the US in killing millions of innocent Vietnamese civilians?

One can go on and on and on ....

It just looks like they (China) are trying to filter out websites that spread junks and filth. This is not a bad thing. It is different from in the US, where most of the websites spew untruths, lies, and junks.

That is all.

What are YOU doing HERE, YiWu?
The internet is practically the definition of freedom of the press. Obciously you don't like "political reform to promote Western bourgeois parliamentary democracy, human rights and freedom of the press".

What is your position in the CCP?
