Yep, what was that about? It's just a joke on the American Public that no one believes anyway. Bush, the oil thug, conspiring to pretend to care about the cost of oil? It's interesting to see corporate media begin to pick up on some of the foibles of the administration. Why, for instance, isn't Frist demanding a vote on the nuclear option and why did he soften his stance at the RepublicanFundamentalistInquisition Sunday? Obviously, he hasn't done enough arm twisting to get all the Republican votes he needs. Back to the WH for more pointers from Rove on how to threaten other Republicans.
