Ramsey, For a good indicator I suggest this recipe: Locate a handful cross section of bubble markets Find out the following indicators: Has the "days on Market" indicator been lengthening? Have more homes been "falling out of escrow"? Have prices quit rising at the accelerated rates of last year? Are prices drops outnumbering price increases 10/1? If the answer to these questions is yes, like it is here in Kona then a market top is in. Kona, you may recall, was said by Donald Trump to be the one place to invest in real estate a while back. Good luck to leveraged real estate longs. You'll need it.
