Not sure I understand that logic but of course we can make new lows. I'm only proposing a possible scenario where we don't. And frankly its far more bearish intermediate-term. I've been tracking this possibility since the marginal new high in Jan 2005 did not hold, the first possible tell-tale sign.

In any event, "buy" what you want. I gave this scenario low odds of occurring but the odds are somewhat better now. You know I had been one of the most adamant bear until a pile of stocks and sectors suddenly reversed their breakdowns last week. I don't take those reversals lightly.

Trading is only about going with the flow. If the shit wants to flow uphill for a while who am I to argue.
