This morning there was a radio commercial lying about the judicial filibuster. I will have to write my Senators again.

The truth is in the numbers. Rush yesterday related a factoid he found. The story was about circuit court appointment confirmations for Presidents from FDR, LBJ, Nixon, Reagan, Clinton, and Bush. Most enjoyed over a 90% confirmation rate, the next lowest besides President Bush was 76%. President Bush has had only 50% confirmed.

DemoLibs love to compare the confirmation rate of Clinton's nominees to President Bush's. The truth is that the number of days to confirmation for Clinton's appointees was way lower than for President Bush 43. Clinton was so unorganized that he didn't offer appointments until well into his first term. The Senate was unable to confirm those who had not been nominated.

The real travesty is that over 200 years of accepted practices were discarded for partisan Democrat politics. It proves that Democrats have no honor.
