You are right. In the history of our Republic, there have been many rancorous times. One Senator even caused the death of another. The current nuclear option being employed by Democrats is beyond anything that has ever been done before. They have shown a lack of restraint in the past. They have demonstrated an inability to learn from that the backlash from their unethical behavior hurts worse than what they are trying to avoid. Let them be punished in the polls. A few more elections and they can become the proverbial third party. Anyone who calls themselves a Democrat must hang their head in shame.
