I think the point is that a middle of the roader would have a real chance against bush chosen successor--the sometimes Dr. Frist. Wouldnt it be cool to have the two arrogant doctors go at each other. Can you imagine the debate between dr. dean and dr. frist? That is unless a moderate clintonesque (sans organ/sans wife) type gets the nod.
