You know, JoaT (and all) -- I was wondering about that e-mini halt and how it impacts things. If the market is largely program trading, as we hear, that should have a big effect. And if there is a group of people who tries to prop/drop the market via futures to get the prices they want to either distribute or accumulate -- then what does today's action say about the underlying market? It doesn't say anything bullish, clearly, but does it say anything at all?

What's happening..is it still down ?? Know nothing about it, but surprised that most of program trading done with minis..Would have thought the big players involved would be dealing in the regular SPX futes...
