Bolton’s Critics and Intelligence Failure
The latest attack does not bode well for fixing what ails us.

nationalreview.com;

It really strikes me as odd why the right wants some one like him who puts people off so badly in an ambassador position of considerable importance. Seriously, the guy isn't just brusque.......everything I have ever read suggests he has serious anger problem. And we all know what that means.....we've all seen people like him in the office. After enough flareups, they usually end up getting put into a corner away from people or fired depending on how competent they are. And please note that anger/people problems can definitely trump competency.

None of this is news......everyone knows this kind of stuff. So why is Bush pushing Bolton into as an important position as the US rep the UN? One can assume one of two things...........either he knows Bolton won't get it because of his history, or he's hoping to so disrupt our relations with the UN that we end up withdrawing.

After all, Bolton is the same guy the Brits asked to be pulled off negotiations because he so infuriated everyone and kept progress from happening. This is not rocket science. Why is the right trying to make it so?
