I believed that tale too. I dont think they were deliberate misstatements but the fog of war you know. I am wondering how many folks really believe that we had zarquawi and he leaped from the car just in the nick of time. Actually that is kind of embarrassing if true. But i remain halfway optimistic about the outcome in iraq. Mike

Anyone know what happened to the story about supposed ships full of WMD that Saddam had parked out in the ocean somewhere before the invasion? This story was circulating in the weeks leading up to the Iraq war, but I haven't heard boo since. Maybe it was just typical Debka nonsense.
