Everyone needs to allow a little leeway for those discussions where Politics & Economics cross over. Theads need posters who are posting the why's & why not's on active livetime trades; as well as those who are discussing the why's, or why not's on the bigger macro issues like Politics & Economics that ultimately will influence those livetime buy/sell recommendations and commentary. Just my personal opinion; but I think good threads - need both. The poster known as Elroy Jetson...also posts some of the best technical info about refiners found on any of these internet threads. I will say this: If you are an Oil Bear, or Bull - you need to bookmark him, read & listen to what he has to say....and keep an open mind...I've got him bookmarked and I read & listen to what he has to say....even though we probably disagree on where Oil Prices and/or Oilpatch stocks are going. This is a smart, well informed, excellent SI contributor. I saw bits & pieces of the so-called Dr. Gloom & Doom on his CNBC appearance & obviously he was preaching to the Choir in the Slider house; but hadn't checked out the Pacific Captial Web Site... Elroy Jetson brought charts from that Web Site to my attention that I think support my position...that I otherwise may have never seen. so, viva le` difference
