Would you please stop with the disparaging remarks about the SwiftVets. Aside from forgetting to dot the occasional i or cross a t, their stories were essentially true. Kerry gamed the system for his medals and conducted himself in a manner after his Vietnam tour that led many veterans to conclude that he had betrayed them. Those are the facts. Kerry was not alone in gaming the system. You may recall that I posted a number of articles to you last year about medal inflation.

As I have said repeatedly, Kerry deserves credit for the time that he spent in Vietnam, but he made a tactical mistake when he decided to make his service the centerpiece of his campaign. The problem for Kerry was that he had to make it the centerpiece. He had no real record of legislative accomplishment. He seems to have been a pretty decent prosecutor, but that was decades ago.

You do know that Kerry is DOA for 2008. Time for you to find another horse.
