I haven't heard of guys being victimized by up-lifted seats, but there was this guy who was suing Starbucks for being the victim of a down seat. I don't know how it turned out (finger in Wendy's?), but he claimed he had to reach back for the spare toilet paper and caught himself under the seat (???huh???; that takes a lot of talent).

OTH, I have heard of guys falling victim to seats which were down; usually in dorms or frats. Seran wrap over the bowl :-)

The difference is, I expect
that when they fall in,
they keep quiet about it.
I mean.. man, that's gotta bite.
Fallin' into the toilet
cuz of your own negligence.

P.S. It's amazing how one's legs give out exactly where
the mind realizes that one inch thick seat "should" have
been...

No matter how hard it is to climb out of a comfy chair, it is
never difficult to shoot straight up from an open-lid bowl.
