ARM a buy here? I find it crazy that so much attention being paid to wireless IPR - with Qualcomm top of the agenda, while ARM is far cheaper, grows faster, and doesn't have the same uncertainty over their IPR position. Every OEM is bumping up handset numbers right now, ARM reduced its sales guidance three months ago and no one thinks they might reverse it?? If anything there's a pretty strong case that its royalty sales is about to accelerate what with smartphones and 3G rising in the mix. Even if Artisan turns out to be a basket case, it doesn't have that big an effect on earnings.
