Hitler had good intentions for the ethnic German people too... (if they weren't communists, or homosexuals etc.)...

Repression and liberalization tend to go through cycles in China it seems. At the moment, repression is being stepped up a little. Hopefully they will be able to keep playing this game and come to a soft landing of a democratic, peaceful, prosperous China.
