Many cracks. They are noticeable delinquent in correctly mispriced trades as well.

Thanks for the clarification. You are right, those volumes are way too high and do not agree with Yahoo: finance.yahoo.com Yet my point remains. Volume on XLE has been going up during the last year and the current short position is not nearly as impressive considering that, eg, volume on March 05 was much bigger (~10x) than March 04.
