Notable exceptions are billionaire "philanthropists" and red-diaper trust-fund beneficiaries.

Aren't you the one who posted links to these photos? The images of working conditions are things you never see in the US or Europe or Japan. news.china.com It's hard to believe that people still work under such conditions in a civilized country.
