The economic data is very confusing at this point 3 years out from the recession and the Fed is upping interest rates and wondering if it should stop and the stock market is stalling. That was my comparison to 1994. Investors are confused because they don't know which data is important and which less. A lot fo the most bearish people are ones who think things must play out in some particular way they did at some point in the past and don't really pay attention to how the economy evolves and things change. Hopefully I am learning something over time :)
