At this moment, this search command gives 7,290 hits.

What is key about using google news in this case is that it gives you a history of news releases, not just the current reports. If you sort the results by date/time, you can see what news was out there at a particular point in time, like 7:48 yesterday morning. It's a really nice feature.

I wish the regular search considered timeliness. I was searching for episode guides for a TV show the other day to find out what I missed in a recent story line and had to sift through web sites that had episode guides for the early seasons and hadn't been updated in years. It took me a while to find a timely one. If you're looking for information on some medical treatment and find old information... It would be nice to get recently updated pages first.

Thank you.

Or 10 minutes after the Reuters press release.

Let's see what I recall of my routine. I checked my news links. Found nothing new in MSM on Lebanon. Got coffee. Answered a post to HH. Wrote a post to LB and the sharp shooting began because Reuters put up a link immediately after I checked their wire and while I was posting.

Nice neighborhood.
