Did you know anyone in Taiwan want to fight the real war? None. However asking for self determination is not necessary? Taiwan people do not want Taiwan to be the battlefields between "you guys", Japanese, and barbarian CCP either. You have my words for it. :-) In fact my quoted "you guys" include me. Please understand you are not the only American in town here. :-)

Let me repeat for your "your guys" collective thoughts (various opinions among various Taiwanese) here. No one (even those pro-Taiwan independence folks) in their right minds want to engage in a war that involve US weapons and barbarians CCP troops. Taiwanese want Jay's political "just is". Unless Jay is honest to himself Mao's past mistakes are equally or even worse than Japanese past mistakes. :-)
