Shades, Be careful with Phils picks,. they will kill you. Not his radio show stuff but his online members "Phil's Gang" stuff at his website. He appears to be a believer in a sort of "channelling stock" stock approach with the same bunch of directionless large caps. He even claims that he uses only "the charts" and nothing fundamental in coming up with his recommendations. Some time back he went outside his pattern and shorted some builders, transports and steel and that worked well. Now though he is back in his mode. Yesterday he bought KO @ 43.72 and C @47.12. Note that this morning Energyplay posted that he sold C. Phil also shorted PG @54.10 yesterday. He sets real tight stops on these picks and I will bet if you follow his instructions you will loose money on all three. I wasn't short X but NUE and also YELL and not on Phils recommend either. But when I saw his "50% buy to cover" recommendation I covered. Later I re-shorted. The "Winning on Wall Street" guys seems sharper than Phil but not as entertaining. Maybe he has some good ideas. I may check him out. Slagle
