If it's the market deciding, but it might not be. Companies like Clear Channel and Sinclair are known to forcibly inject rightwing content and frown on opposing views. I don't know enough to be certain, but red foags were raised when Sinclair aired the slandering SmearVet film right before the election.

Obviously, the intent of the rightwing has been to subvert the free press. They used to have a point about the "liberal media" but that hardly exists anymore, especially on the airwaves. For instance, every Smearvet lie was broadcast across America hundreds of times, but I haven't heard a peep about the real-deal Jeff Gannon scandal yet. Of course gay and bi radio hosts like Rantel, Limbaugh, Ingraham and others may not want to expose rightwing gay scandals.
