I sent that link on and got this back from a retired SFer in Iraq. "good one!! I have only seen the French here once since just after the war. They had a PSD team co-located with ours out past Fallujah and Ramadi. We advised them that if the ever had any vehicle problems on that particular road to leave the vehicle,crossload and haul ass. They did not listen. One of their vehicles had a flat, they had no spare anyway but elected to leave 2 other guy's from the other 2 vehicles to stay with the downed vehicle until they sent help. Well all 7 of them died in place on that highway right next to their vehicle. Next day all the rest packed up and went home. Never saw them again."
