The upgrade market is bigger than the first-time user market on cell phones. Not to mention the new uses for ANAD's chips.

John, not to bring up a sore point, but you posted on September 9, 1997 a buy of ANAD, figuring it would be an $80 stock in three years.

I'm looking at ANAD now, due to its price relative to book and sales, its involvement in a growth technology, and its depressed, out-of-favor status.

If its not too painful, can you share with us how you feel today about ANAD at $13? Is the selling over? What do you think about its legal issues?

Doug (no position in ANAD, but long NXTL, QCOM, WAVO and ORFR)
